VEGAN RECIPE
• 50ml Vegetable Oil
• 200ml Plant Milk
• 80g Apple Sauce

STANDARD RECIPE
• 2 Large Eggs
• 200ml Milk

HOW TO MAKE
• Grease a 1lb loaf tin or 20cm cake tin with Butter/Oil and leave a teaspoon more in the bottom of the tin for good measure! Turn the oven to 200c and pop the tin in to get good and toasty.
• Pour this packet into your favourite mixing bowl and give it a quick whisk to remove any annoying lumps.
• Make a little well in the middle, then carefully add the rest of the ingredients. Give it all a good stir, but don’t over mix, or it will be a tad dense!
• Using oven gloves, take the tin out of the oven and lovingly spoon the mixture in.
• Pop the tin back in the oven and let it cook for around 25 minutes, until golden on top.
• Using your oven gloves again, remove the piping hot tin and leave to cool slightly.

OUR EXPERT ADVICE:
• Heating the tin before adding the batter gives you a crispy bottom, if you prefer it less crispy, then skip that bit!
• For a fluffier bread, use buttermilk instead of milk or add 2 tablespoons lemon juice or apple cider vinegar to you milk for a homemade buttermilk!
• Got a sweet tooth? Add 2 tablespoons maple syrup to sweeten the deal, or spread some maple butter on top when it’s still piping hot from the oven!

Made this yesterday for the first time…delicious. Bit weird my mouth thinking it was cake with my casserole…will try with recommended extra flavours next time! It was so lovely not having the nasty aftertaste a lot of GF food has. I will order again.

Really easy to use mix & my 5 year olds favourite cupcake/muffins since she was 2. She always calls it “crumbly cake” as it does fall apart very easily but we truly don’t mind, it’s delicious! Very sweet too.

You need to put these in your basket now! They are so tasty and I will definitely be purchasing again!!! 😍

  1. Charlotte

Love this baking mix, love the 2 different ways to cook them on the back of the packaging. Super tasty, easy to follow the cooking instructions, really quick, I will be buying again! I’ve now ordered the carrot cake loaf and the choc chip muffins

  2. Rosie

Absolutely love this mix. It’s so easy to make and tastes unreal!!

  3. Wendy Jennings

    Amazing, so delicious!

  4. samanthaostlund

The best brownie mix out there! I love the chia seeds in it as well as the overall taste & texture. I melt vegan dark chocolate over the top, allow to set in the fridge or warm up the brownie in the microwave with some Swedish Glace ice cream & some vegan chocolate spread…amazing!

  5. Ellie

Amazing! This tastes so good you wouldn’t know it’s dairy or gluten free! Such an easy recipe to follow and the results were exactly as the picture on the front showed. Definitely going to be buying this again in the future!

  6. Rachel

A wonderful option that I’ve tweaked for a perfect healthy(ish) brownie. Just combine the 20 brownie mix with a whole can of pureed pumpkin AND NIOTHING ELSE.

    BEST brownie mix out there.

  7. Bex

I’ve been using this mix for a while as it’s lower in sugar than most I’ve seen. I really like it, so easy to make and easy to add in bits to customise your brownies. My favourite is to add extra cocoa powder to make them really rich tasting.

  8. Cornelia Libal

this is amazing! I eat plant based and have a few food sensitivities (soy, corn, …) and finding recipes that work for me, let alone a baking mix, is nearly impossible. I haven’t had a brownie in over 4 years so I was close to tears when I found this, baked it and it tasted delicious! I substituted half the vegan spread for blended kidney beans to lower fat content and up fibre and other nutrients. They came out fantastic and my son is happily taking them with his packed lunch to school. Price wise it is very reasonable! I went to a vegan bakery in London the other day and got two small (!) pieces of cake. They cost 3 times as much as a whole pack of brownie mix.

  9. Kath

I’ve used this brownie mix numerous times and it’s always a success. I usually add small amount of chopped walnuts to the mix and sometimes I melt dark chocolate and do some swirl / lines across the top of the brownies and then let them cool. Delicious!

Amazing!!! My kids love them and as healthy as pancakes get. Plus it said it makes 9 on the packet but I got 19 American pancakes out! Enough for breakfast for everyone for two days.

  3. Rebecca Williams (verified owner)

Bought for waffle making, mix tasted great, just wish they added cooking information for 1 waffle/ pancake portion, I used 50g of the mix, 1 egg and 30g of milk and it made a nice singular portion

So delicious! It was very easy and simple to make and the cake came out absolutely perfectly, as did the frosting recipe on the packet which went beautifully with the cake. By far the most moist and delicious carrot cake I’ve ever had, you wouldn’t know it’s free from the top 14 allergens. My whole family loved it.

Absolutely delicious, discovered through Gousto, my husband loves banana bread, and declared this the best he’s tasted.plus the ingredients are all natural win win

  2. Meg

I bought this through my Gousto box first as it looked super convenient. I used to love baking all the time but since having a baby I just need everything to be quick and easy!
This baking mix is amazing as dry ingredients are all weighed out in the mix and you just need to add a couple bananas, egg and butter ( there is option of making it vegan too which is amazing!) I always have those ingredients in the house so this just makes it super easy to put together in a matter of minutes.
It also tastes soooo good. Not all my banana breads have turned out very well before so will definitely be buying a few more again to store in the cupboard! My daughter absolutely loved it too …bonus 🙂
Lovely as a quick treat. Will have to try the rest of their products now 🙂

  3. Hannah Gray

I’ve been forever trying and failing at baking gluten free treats! BUT this is a game changer. So super easy to make, and so so so tasty, not dry at all either! Can add additional items if you like too. Can’t wait to try other baking mixes from creative nature!

  4. Jo

Purchased through Guosto and thought even I could have a good at this. It was delicious. Can’t say how long it will last as nearly all gone. I added Raspberries and the combination worked well. Will buy again and going to look at other options.

  5. Nicky Frowen

Amazing taste and texture! Love this banana bread, do easy to make and the chewy bananas in it really give it great flavour.

  6. Alicia

I can’t recommend this enough, I was sceptical at first as I’m very fussy but I’m so glad I found this! It takes exactly the same as homemade banana cake Just with less calories. You can’t tell it’s gluten free and it’s not dry at all. Really delicious can’t recommend enough

  7. Janis Young (verified owner)

This makes a delicious banana cake which is the best I have ever tasted. It keeps beautifully moist for a few days in the tin and freezes very well. I will be buying more!!

  8. Nicky M (verified owner)

Reluctantly I tried this packet mix after many failed attempts at vegan banana bread (My son is allergic to eggs) and this was actually the best one I’ve ever made! It was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be purchasing more! So great to have allergy safe alternatives.

  9. Amy Smith (verified owner)

I love this so much! It’s almost like a brownie like consistency… a delicious, healthy, squigy, banana brownie. I was super skeptical, as I’m not normally a fan of pre-packaged cake mixes, but I’m a convert!

I kept it in a container for around a week, and it was absolutely fine.

Will 100% buy and make again!

  10. Lydia

I bake this more or less every week and I absolutely adore it! If stored in a tin or box it lasts a while, and its perfect to take to work for breakfast or mid-morning snack. I started suffering with gluten and dairy allergies years ago and this mix means I can finally enjoy an amazing quality banana bread again. Really easy to mix it up with different flavours by adding to the mix. My favourites to make are blueberry/coconut and chocolate. Definitely a must-have! 🙂

Healthy and yummy. I added blueberries to mine

  2. Kath

Love these so easy to make I added some fresh blueberries and some broken up 70 per cent dark chocolate as happen to have both in the fridge. Also put a few pumpkin seeds on the top. I used Pure dairy free spread in mine. Very moorish my boyfriend loved them too.

  3. Nicola Lockley

I made the vegan recipe, adding a drop of banana flavouring for a bit of oomph. They turn out great! They are healthy and taste ‘good for you’ so they really are a good treat for family and friends. I stretched the mixture to fill 12 muffin cups but would make 9 larger ones next time.

  4. laurence-huber (verified owner)

I bought it and made them as soon as I heard about them. They are stunning. Add Nothing to them, and even my partner who is fussy, loved them.

  5. Angie

Absolutely Fabulous,Picked up a bag from Homesense and I am hooked.
I add dark chocolate nibs and eat them warm so the chocolate is gooey.
    A staple in my pantry.
    THANK YOU !

  6. Kat

So easy to make & delicious, I will make them again!

  7. Karen

I overcooked them a little bit, didn’t add any extras. Recently no wheat diet and these were just what I needed with a cuppa. Like the crunchieness
