Cacao & Berry Smoothie Bowl

We’re not saying that every meal has to be valentines themed in February but… how cute is this pink Cacao & Berry Smoothie Bowl?!

Smoothie bowls are such a fun way of mixing up (literally) your breakfast as well as getting in your fruit and veg!

This Cacao & Berry Smoothie Bowl uses just six ingredients that you most likely already have laying around the kitchen and can be topped with just about anything!

We wanted to top our smoothie bowl with our raw Cacao Nibs to give it that extra crunch and they have so many health benefits.

  • 1 cup frozen red berries of your choosing
  • 1/3 cup natural or plant based yoghurt
  • Dash of plant milk
  • 2 tbsp cacao nibs
  • 1 banana
  • 1tsp agave/maple syrup to sweeten

  1. Add all your ingredients to a blender, setting aside half your banana and a few cacao nibs for toppings
  2. Blend through until smooth. If you find there are lumps, add a dash more milk or leave the mixture for 5 minutes to allow the frozen fruit to soften slightly.
  3. Present in your serving bowls and top with whatever you choose! We have topped with banana, cacao nibs, and rose petals.
