Hot Cross Bun Muffins

Our vegan chocolate chip muffins are tasty if you follow the standard recipe on pack, but did you know that you can customise them by adding extra fruits and flavours to create our Hot Cross Bun Muffins?

Got some apples that look like they need eating? Just grate them up and throw them into our baking mix! It’s delicious!

These Hot Cross Bun Muffins are completely gluten and dairy free and so simple to create too. These are also so love to pair with a cup of tea whilst watching your go to TV programme or movie.

  • creative nature chocolate chip muffin mix
  • 100g dairy free spread
  • 2 large ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 small apples, grated
  • 75g sultanas, soaked in 50ml apple juice
  • a sprinkle of cinnamon, to taste

  1. preheat your oven to 180 degrees.
  2. mix all ingredients together in a large bowl
  3. spoon the mixture into muffin cases
  4. bake for 25 minutes. Check on them at intervals, and cover with foil if it seems like the top of the muffins are cooking too quickly. This can happen because of the extra moisture from the fruit!
  5. remove from the oven, and enjoy warm with a cup of tea!
