

Spicy Superfood Tomato Relish
Gone are the days of missing out at BBQs just because you don’t/can’t eat certain foods! There are so many options out there from bean burgers, to soy burgers, vegan cheese and gluten free bread buns!
We wanted to celebrate all of these amazing BBQ friendly brands by bringing you a recipe that ties them all together – a spicy superfood tomato relish.
This recipe is zingy and sweet, and tastes amazing on your burgers or any BBQ meals for that matter!

Ingredients
- 2 Medium Tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 tsp Creative Nature Barley Grass Powder
- 1 tbsp Garlic Puree
- 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Basil
- 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (30 ml)
- 1 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar (or balsamic, 15 ml)
- ½ tsp Sugar (or more to taste, 2 ml)
- (To Taste) Salt
- (To Taste) Ground Pepper

Method
1. Simply combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine.
2. Serve chilled.
