Double Cacao & Pear Protein Cake

If you love baking from scratch and want to try a high protein super-food treat then look no further! This recipe can use four different super-foods of ours, and can be made vegan! Thank you to Claire for letting us share her recipe!

  • 100ml eggwhites (or 2 tbsp flax seed with 6 tbsp water)
  • 25g Coconut Flour
  • 30g protein powder
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 50 ml milk (or plant based alternative)
  • 1/2 pear
  • cacao nibs
  • shelled hemp seeds

  1. Preheat your oven to 160 degrees
  2. Mix together all the ingredients in a mixing bowl
  3. pour the mix into a greased oven dish
  4. press half a pear into the top
  5. sprinkle cacao nibs over the top to taste
  6. bake in a hot oven at 160 degrees for 30 minutes
  7. once cooked, sprinkle some shelled hemp seeds over the top!
