Spiced Apple Porridge

Does anyone else get way too excited about their bowl of porridge for breakfast?? There really is nothing like warm oats on a cold winter morning, and we love experimenting with new flavours! This combination using our Spiced Apple Protein Bar and Barley Grass Powder works so well and gives off serious apple pie vibes! Soak your oats overnight for a deliciously softer texture or even an hour before works just as well!

Ingredients

  • 40g Gluten Free Oats
  • 200ml Plant Milk of your choice
  • 100ml Apple Juice
  • 1 chopped spiced apple protein bar
  • 1 handful chopped apple
  • 1/2 tsp barley grass powder
  • 1/2 tsp mixed spice

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a pan and soak overnight for a softer texture.
  2.  Cook on a low heat until the liquid evaporates and your porridge reaches a desired consistency.
  3. Enjoy on its own or layer with your favourite toppings! We have used apple slices, caramel drizzle and sugar stars!
