This Jack-fruit Stew Recipe is perfect for a warming night at home and with our Shelled Hemp Seeds which are a source of healthy fatty acids.

We Recommend using Jack and Chill’s  pulled jack-fruit for this recipe; its so easy to add and delicious too!

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 200g sweet potato, peeled and diced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp jerk seasoning
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 400g mixed beans
  • 400g chopped tomatoes
  • 300g Pulled Jackfruit
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 300ml vegetable stock
  • Creative Nature Hemp Seeds to top

To Make:

  1. Add the oil to a saucepan and add the pepper, sweet potato, and ginger over a medium heat. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add the jerk seasoning, thyme, beans, hemp seeds, tomatoes, jackfruit, maple syrup and stock and bring to the boil. Once boiling, simmer for 15-20 minutes until the sweet potato is cooked, the jack-fruit is tender, and the sauce has thickened.
