Why You Should be Eating More Chocolate – Yes, Really!

Makes 12:

1 cup nuts (almonds, cashews or pecans work best)

2 cups pitted dates

1 tablespoon Creative Nature raw cacao powder

1 teaspoon Creative Nature spirulina powder

1 teaspoon Creative Nature chia seeds

1 tablespoon coconut oil

Directions: Place the nuts on a tray and roast in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Once cooled for a few minutes place them in a food processor and blend until they form a flour consistency, then add all the remaining ingredients and process to form a sticky mixture. Shape the mixture into bite sized balls and store in a Tupperware in your fridge/freezer ready to enjoy when that sweet tooth hits.
